This Medical School, founded in 1997, has the only hospital-integrated education and research programme in the Caribbean.
There are more than 1,000 successful graduates who have earned residencies and/or permanent licensure in 43 states in the US as well as in Canada, Great Britain, and numerous other countries.
St. Matthew's state-of-the-art campus offers excellent anatomy, histology, microbiology and clinical skills labs along with beautiful classrooms, spacious study areas and student lounges and wireless internet connectivity.
This is a unique new opportunity for British and European students to study pre-clinical training (2 years) in the British Cayman Islands, one of the most appealing locations in the world. The clinical training (2-years) is then taught at top teaching hospitals in the UK, Ireland or the USA.
The degree course is taught according to the US system and is therefore only 4 calendar years in duration. It gives British students the option to study medicine at a foreign university while remaining on British soil.
TThe 4-year programme has been designed for selected graduates who have completed a science or medical science BSc degree course. Undergraduates must complete the 1 year M&D Pre-Med® Programme.

Student life in the British Cayman Islands
