This Medical School, founded in 1997 has the only hospital-integrated education and research program in the Caribbean.
There are more than 1,000 successful graduates who have earned residencies and/or permanent licensure in 43 states in the U.S. as well as in Canada, Great Britain, and numerous other countries.
St. Matthew's state-of-the-art campus offers wireless internet connectivity, excellent anatomy, histology, microbiology and clinical skills labs along with beautiful classrooms, spacious study areas and student lounges.
This is a unique new opportunity for British and European students to study Pre-clinical training (2 years) on the British Cayman Islands, one of the most appealing locations in the world! The clinical training (2-years) is then taught at top teaching hospitals based in the UK, Ireland or the USA.
The degree course is taught according to the US system and is therefore only a total of 4 calendar years in duration. British students can now opt to study medicine at a foreign university, yet the course will be taught entirely on British soil.
The 4-year programme is exclusively designed for selected graduates (with a B.Sc.) of a scientific/medical science degree course. Undergraduates must complete the 1 year M&D Pre-Med Programme at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.

Student life in the British Cayman Islands
