It is a newly revised course focusing on Dentistry from the 1st academic year, separate from Medical students at a very early stage. This Medical faculty of Charles University in particular has added extra emphasis on Dental Medicine, unlike other Dental courses at other faculties of Charles University.
Graduates of Charles University may need to pass the International Qualifying Examination (IQE) set by the General Dental Council (GDC) of Britain.
This examination assesses the Dental knowledge as well as the English language ability of each applicant. It is important to bear in mind that the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary are now Full Member of the EEA (European Economic Area, including all EU countries).
