Student life in Castellon de la Plana
Castellon de la Plana, home to the University Cardenal Herrera - CEU impressive newly built medical teaching facilities, is a picturesque town about an hour away from Valencia. Despite its smaller size, it has plenty to offer to both tourists and locals; the much-loved beach resort of Benicassim is only 15 km away while the town centre is a hub of lively night-life. Food lovers will appreciate the abundance of tapas bars and if you are an extreme sports fan, be sure to try out skydiving and landing on the Mediterranean coast!
Castellon de la Plana is close to the regional capital of Valencia with its wealth of culture and a yearly calendar full of festivals. Designed for the future students of the University of Cardenal Herrera-CEU, the M&D Spanish language course is the first step towards your language proficiency and successful studies on the UCH-CEU programmes.
Being able to communicate in Spanish on arrival at the UCH-CEU will:
- Help you settle down quickly and easily in your new environment
- Give you more confidence outside the classroom right from the beginning
- Give you a head-start for your further Spanish language studies – remember that you will need to be able to speak with patients by your third year...
